Chippa United players

Chippa United players received an interesting message. This season, two Orlando Pirates players on loan at Chippa United have received an interesting message. It happened after the two players were called to South Africa’s U23 team. It is this team that will be preparing for the Africa Cup of Nations.

SAFA has confirmed that Sandile Mthethwa, as well as Tercious Malepe, are invited to the squad at the suggestion of coach David Notoane. In the run-up to the U23 AFCON, South Africa has friendly games against Egypt. Two games will be played, one on Friday and the other on Sunday. The team is already headed to Egypt so that they can prepare as best they can.

Before a young South African representative embarked on the journey, two players currently on loan at Chippa United received messages of encouragement. The leadership of the Chippa club wished all the best to the young players, who will try to defend the colors of their homeland with the rest of the team. They will try to show as much as they can and if possible win both games.

Repo Malepe is a South African player who played for the national team at the 2016 Summer Olympics. He originally signed for the Orlando Pirates but is now on loan at another club. Since the beginning of his career, Repo has been playing as a defender. Sandile Mthethwa is another young player who got the opportunity to represent his country in a well-known competition such as the U23 AFCON. Sandile was born on the 14th of April in Richards Bay. He has played for the South African national team several times. He currently plays for the Chippa club where is on loan from the Orlando Pirates.

Just like Repo, Sandile plays as a defender. In the 2015/2016 season, he played for KZN Academy. The following year, Mthethwa signed for the Orlando Pirates. He left Richards Bay for the 2018/2019 season to join the Orlando Pirates club. It is believed that these two players will show the best they can, not only in the club where they play but also in matches for the national team. We will soon find out at Soccer 10 how will U23 AFCON finish, also in time we will see if they have successful PSL results in the PSL League.
