Wayne Sandilands: Pirates need to start to think differently

Orlando Pirates had one terrible start of the season with bad results for PSL. With all that, they have constant changes in personnel, from game to game. But if we ask one of their stars this is not a problem. Wayne Sandilands spoke about this situation in the club.

Right now they are on the ninth position in the Absa Premiership. In this season they played almost half of the games. They can’t be satisfied with their results because they were been eliminated fro three cup competitions. Coach Rhulani Mokwena also has a lot of problems to find an ideal team that can change some things. Still, he didn’t find the ideal combination of players.

Goalkeeper Wayne Sandilands was thinking about this situation. In one phase he saw that he is losing his position on the goal. But if we ask him, he thinks that there is no problem with individual players. The main problems are in the collective, they want to restore the clubs dignity.

What Wayne Sandilands tell about Orlando Pirates?

In the first place, Wayne Sandilands thinks that the right mindset for players who play for Pirates to think about the team, not about individuals. In clubs like this one, everybody should think about the club.

If you look in the team, it’s obvious that they have so many great players which can come and play. Each player can be replaced with no matter who you are. Orlando Pirates needs to start to win. Every player in the team want’s to play, but the main focus should be on the team. The club is looking for a better position on the PSL log. Right now, no one can make a good Soccer10 prediction about them.

As Wayne Sandilands said, they are knowing that they didn’t have a good start of the season. There is a lot of stuff about the game that they need to improve.

Maybe they are doing a good job on the training, but it looks like this is not enough. They will need to change some things in the game as soon as possible if they want to have some better results in the PSL.
