Stellenbosch fixtures

Stellenbosch is currently on the 14th place in the PSL log with 3 games lost and 2 ties. Their overall score is 3 points, with 7 goals against and only 4 goals for.

In their last game, coach Steve Barker restored last season’s top scorer Iqraam Rayners to the starting line-up. In the meantime, Ryan Moon had to make do with a spot on the bench. The hosts were desperate to win so they attacked early on but the game was silent until 39 minutes on.

Stellies were dealt a blow when Sibusiso Mthethwa picked up a knock and had to be replaced by Alan Robertson. They pushed for a second goal and were rewarded in the 73rd minute again. Stellies were not able to pull off a win here but they managed to tie the result.

Stellenbosch came into the Premier Soccer League with a win over Ubuntu Cape Town 2-0. They managed to draw with Mbombela United, then win against TS Sporting. They had one more tie against Witbank Spurs, then loss against Milano United. Real Kings have also put them on thin ice but they pulled off 5-0 win against Pretoria Univ.
