Spanish soccer League might be back on June 12

Spanish Soccer League have announced their return on June 12. The announcement came right on the day when they found out that they have five more positive tests in the two top divisions. However, the Spanish soccer decided not to change the plans and still continue with the season. The president Javier Tebas said that he hopes they can restart on June 12 but the restart still depends on local authorities.

“We wish to start on June 12. However, it depends on a lot of things. If we continue to comply with safety measures we won’t have any problems.” – Tebas said. The league confirmed the positive tests on Sunday but it won’t alter the protocol that started. Everyone was prepared for something like that to happen.

Spanish soccer League is slowly returning players to training

Players from most clubs will begin with their training sessions already on Friday after almost two months. Nobody is worried about their fitness as many football players already knew how to stay in shape. The league is slowly taking measures to return the players on the field. First, they will come back to training, testing their fitness and getting ready for future fixtures.

The League is doing their best to guarantee the maximum safety of all players and staff members. For now, the number of positive cases is still deficient. The virus is unlikely to be spreading around during the matches. Stadiums will be empty; there will be no fans and risk will be very low.

Everyone involved with the game will be tested on time before the match even begins. However, that will mean a further adaptation for coaches and staff as they will need to find backup players in time. One of the players who tested positive was Real Betis goalkeeper, Joel Robles. Renan Lodi from Atletico Madrid also tested positive.

The clubs don’t like to give out their names, but some players are brave enough to speak out. The players who tested positive didn’t resume their activities on Saturday. They will remain in isolation until coming back with negative tests. For now, none of them has any symptoms at all. All other players came back with negative tests, and only three members of the staff tested positive after 2,500 tests. Be ready with soccer 10 matches!
