Nurkovic encouraged to overtake the Buccaneers’ Mhango

Samir Nurkovic has been testing himself throughout the season. We can see that he has done everything to progress towards the Golden Boot. The former Kaizer Chiefs forward also think that Nurkovic is set to make a big difference.

Kingston Nkhatha believes that Chiefs currently have big chances to be the winning team and end their longest rophy drought ever. Nurkovic made his debut to the PSL season, scoring 11 times and so far, he is just a few steps behind the leading scorer – Frank Mhango. Mhango managed to score 14 times.

However, if we consider that Orlando Pirates played one more game than Chiefs did, the Serbian player might have a chance to catch Mhango. When the season returns, all we wait is for Nurkovic to catch the Mhango’s result. Be ready when the season continues with soccer 10 predictions!

Nurkovic could be the top goalscorer of the season

Samir is not the only one who is catching Mhango up with his result. There is also the SuperSport United forward Bradley Grobler, Highlands Park Peter Shalulile and Amazulu’s Bongi Ntuli. All of them are currently on 12 goals. Of course, we can’t forget the Golden Arrows striker, Knox Mutizwa who scored 11 goals so far.

Despite all of that competition, Samir still has the best chances to be the first to reach the record. Nkhatha believes it too. Nurkovic has the biggest odds and best support to be the leading goalscorer of this season.

“I am certain that Samir will win the top scorer award. It is rarely seen that someone excels during their first season as the club as much as he did. His physique and the tactical discipline definitely work for him.”

The Samir’s partner, Leonardo Castro had scored seven goals so far. They also have Manyama who scored six. When you count all of it, Kaizer Chiefs have scored the highest number of goals in the league so far.

The only thing to fear is the Mamelodi Sundowns who are just behind them on the PSL results log. Kaizer Chiefs are still in the lead by 4 points difference but they have played one game more than the Sundowns.
