Newcastle FC brings Odysseas Vlachodimos for 60 million euros

Odysseas Vlachodimos

Newcastle FC is already preparing for next season. Although Mohammed bin Salman has not yet taken over the English club, the Saudi prince is already considering a new team. The plan is to bring in ten players who would make the English club a great team. The wish of the rich prince is to bring in a new goalkeeper. According to the inscription of the Portuguese newspaper, little is missing for the transfer of Odysseas Vlachodimos.

The goalkeeper from Benfica should replace Martin Dúbravka, a player from Slovakia. The player from Greece conceded only 14 goals this season and finished 14 games without conceding a goal. Odysseas has a € 60 million indemnity clause. Benfica does not want to sell him for a smaller amount. It is assumed that the contract clause will not be a big problem for the new club owners.
