Manchester United prepares for £67 million revenue drop

Manchester United will probably be faced with a revenue drop of £67 million this season. The club failed to qualify for the Champions League which created quite a fuss among staff. United released the results of their first quarter for this season on Tuesday. It is forecasting revenues of between £560m and £580m which is a significant fall on the club’s £627.1 million turnovers for this season.

Wages of staff and team members will drop by 8.8 per cent because they won’t participate in the Champions League. This will last for three months while £9.9 million in broadcast income will be the first thing that will give them the first insight into the situation.
