Leonardo Castro became one of the five players who just got a new deal with the Kaizer Chiefs. Over the past few months, Itumeleng Khune, Daniel Akpeyi, Willard Katsande and George Maluleka have all got an offer from the club. They are all in the final six months of their contracts with Chiefs and all of them have been linked since then with signing a new deal.
Kaizer Chiefs have already offered a brand new contract to Castro, as Colombian player’s current deal is about to expire on June 30 of this year. Castro can expect an increasing amount of paperwork that Amakhosi are preparing before end of this season. Read more on soccer 10 today;
Leonardo Castro with four more players expecting a contract
Itumeleng Khune might lose him what seemed to be a long-term future with the club as he lost his place in the head coach Ernst Middendorp’s starting line-up. However, a few sources confirmed that a new deal is still on the table, despite those circumstances. The club didn’t confirm anything about this subject yet so these are all just speculations.
Daniel Akpeyi, who already established himself as the Chiefs number one between the sticks, was linked to a new deal. The deal will supposedly be for two years. Williard Katsande is another player who might also get the two-year deal with the Chiefs. However, for him, there is still an option for a one-year contract.
Amakhosi are yet to officially approach George Maluleka. The player is linked with a new deal for a long time but it still isn’t clear whether will he get one year or two-year contract. Now, everything remains on the Kaizer Chiefs staff to decide how will they conclude these upcoming weeks. Get ready for the next match with betway free bet!
