Lefa Hlongwane, the Black Leopards player is currently being linked with a possible move to the Kaizer Chiefs. One of the best players from mid-table PSL teams is believed to be on the radar of Amakhosi as they need a replacement for Joseph Molangoane.
Skilful Hlongwane could be a perfect replacement for the out-of-favour Molangoane. He can easily play as right and left winger so hi presence would mean a lot to the Kaizer Chiefs team. Browse soccer 10 archives for complete history and info about the clubs.
Lefa Hlongwane still in question
Molangoane’s future in Kaizer Chiefs is on the edge. They are even considering to release him already in January. The 26-yea-old player has recently decided to fight for his rights with the Black Leopards coach Luc Eymael. His lack of game time is putting more worry on him but his agent Bevan Dicks says that Kaizer Chiefs know what to do if they are interested in his client.
“He is contracted to Black Leopards. However, if there is any interest in Lefa, I am sure that Kaizer Chiefs will contact Mr David Thidiela. We have to respect the contract of this player and respect his wishes as well.” – Dicks told in a statement.
“The Glamour Boys are a great club and a big brad. If anything comes through, Lefa Hlongwane will grab the opportunity with both hands. However, we also need to respect the contract he already had with Black Leopards and take this as it comes. Lefa is my client and I put his rights first. I also speak to Eymael on regular basis and I have a great relationship with him. Lefa only needs to keep working on his skills. If he works hard, the coach will never leave him on the bench because he needs good players.”
Dicks also told about the recent argument between the player and the Belgian coach Eymael. For now, it is unclear whether will the player stay with the opinion of his agent or decide to part ways and run off to Chiefs. Prepare for next fixture with betway.
