Kaizer Chiefs – Six Players on Sidelines?

Kaizer Chiefs had a great start in this season but there is one problem that occurred recently. There is a possibility that six of their players will remain stuck on sidelines.

The Chiefs are currently on the very top of the Absa Premiership with three wins out of four games. Finally, this weekend we will see them in a clash with Polokwane City. Unfortunately, some of the players will miss their chance for appearance. However, there are some players that didn’t even get that opportunity yet.

Now that said, make sure that you are ready for the game so you don’t miss anything. However, if you do, you can still find the results on Soccer 10.

Which players will be stuck on the sidelines?

Joseph Molangoane – 0 matchday squads

Midfielder Siphelele Ntshangase and 28-year old attacking midfield Kabelo Mahlasela are still not in the coaches plan despite not being injured. Philani Zulu and Joseph Molangoane are of no better luck, waiting to appear at least in a single matchday squad over the course of the season. Now we can only wait and see what will it take so they finally become a part of Middendorp’s plan.

Siphelele Ntshangase – 0 matchday squads

Coach Ernst Middendorp has used 19 different players in only four of their games so far. However, there is a total of 25 players that have made it into the 18-man squad for the matches they have played.

There is a couple of players who are still waiting for their first appearance in the season and have only made the squad once. Those are Siyabonga Ngezana and recent signing, James Kotei. Both of them made the squad only once in the first game of the campaign against Highlands Park.

Kabelo Mahlasela – 0 matchday squads

Kabelo Mahlasela, Siphelele Ntshangase and Philani Zulu played 41 league games between them in 2018/2019 but without a single minute to their name in 2019/2020. They can just hope that tables will turn in the near future so we can finally see them on the field.

Who do you think will break into the game first? Will any of these players be necessary for the following PSL fixtures? Unfortunately, we can only wait to see what will coach Middendorp decide.
