Kaizer Chiefs have five possible exits in January

Kaizer Chiefs introduced a few new members of the team at the start of the campaign. As a result, some player fell down the pecking order. Now, as far as the league title chase is concerned, Chiefs can be at rest. They are heading into the second half of this season and the number of their squad fits the requirements they faced throughout the season.

The transfer window is just a few weeks away and a few of Chiefs players might look to move their career somewhere else. Sphelele Ntshangase is likely to be one of the exits despite he arrived as a high profile signing. When b arrived, his involvement with the first-team squad ended. Last time, he played in April, still waiting for his chance for appearance. Read more on soccer 10 today;

Kaizer Chiefs had a change of shift after Ernst Middendorp took over

The next player who lives in shades is Lorenzo Gordinho. During 2017/2018 season, he showed us a great promise when he moved from Bloemfontein Celtic. He returned to Naturena at the beginning of 2019, gradually becoming a ghost in the team. He participated in five league matches in the current season but was soon replaced by young Siyabonga Ngezana.

Joseph Malongoane is one more player you are not keen on seeing in action. He was out for a long time due to his ankle injury but since then, he returned on a waiting list to perform. Coach Middendorp is still convinced that he is nothing near ready for the game.

Twenty-eight-year-old Kabelo Mahlasela is one more in line who didn’t get much time on the field in this but also the previous season. The midfielder did not make an appearance for the club in this year’s campaign despite his injury healed. His injury kept him out of the latter stages of the previous season but he is still out of sight.

The last player on the list is James Kotei. This Ghanaian midfielder had his time on the field, as he was introduced at the start of the season. He didn’t have his opportunities and is yet to make his debut for The Glamour Boys. He might not be so keen on leaving the club as others on this list but it is possible he will be searching for a better opportunity.
