The former Kaizer Chiefs player Knowledge Musona is looking at the transfer to Mamelodi Sundowns during this January transfer window. Sundowns are looking to snatch him during the current transfer window as they are focused to retain the PSL title. Knowledge is currently on the books of Belgian giants RSC Anderlecht. It’s expected that he will be a big target for the ambitious Masandawana.
During last month, coach Pitso Mosimane revealed that their team will be shopping. They need two more signings during the current transfer window. This tactician felt that he needs to strengthen the Sundowns attacking skills. For that reason, he will sign a central striker and winger. They need to fix their position in PSL results log.
Knowledge Musona ready to part ways in the Belgian First Division
Mosimane also said that they are looking to sign a foreign striker however, they are still not ready to reveal his name. The Brazilians are currently determined to snap up Zimbabwe’s captain Musona. They had a huge loss while facing Argentinian striker Emiliano Tade last month. The Argentinian’s contract with the reigning PSL champions ended just after he decided to end his career as a professional footballer.
Sundowns are a bit thin in the striking department after their Tokelo Rantie went away. So at this moment, the former AFC Bournemouth frontman is expected to meet the club’s disciplinary committee to possibly make an agreement. Knowledge Musona (who is with Anderlecht for two years) endured a frustrating spell with a record 34-time Belgian champions. That was one of the reasons he is so determined to part ways with his club already this month.
The 29-year-old player still didn’t catch his time on the field for the Belgian First Division A for Purple and White in this season. He is pushing his way out of the competition. He probably won’t see his time on the field as he will be out on this January’s exit. Musona was one of the Kaizer Chiefs’ successful players, winning the Telkom knockout Cup and PSL Golden Boot award between 2009 and 2011. Scoring eight goals in 16 starts in the PSL, he is definitely a player any PSL competing team would want. Find out more news about the transfer with soccer 10 tips and predictions!
