Amakhosi will be on their way to Durban where they will face AmaZulu on Tuesday, 24th September. This next match will take place at the Umlazi’s King Zwelithini Stadium. These two teams are on completely opposite ends of the Absa Premiership log. While one team, Kaizer Chiefs, is at the very top, the other, Usuthu is at the end of the standings.
Last season hasn’t been so great for AmaZulu as Amakhosi got them down two times. They defeated them home and away in the league. The first clash they won 2-0 at home, then ended with 3-2 in the away victory.
The encounter will begin at 15:00 at King Zwelithini Stadium so don’t forget to buy your tickets. You can find them at Ticket Pro outlets.
Amakhosi at the start of the season
While they entered South Africa Premier Division, they managed to have four wins in the line. They won the game against Highlands Park 3:2 then Black Leopards 1:0. In a match with SuperSport United, they ended with a tie. They had luck one more time in a match against Cape Town City with score 2:1.
Polokwane City destroyed their course but Chiefs are not giving up as they are still on the top in standings. Kaizer Chiefs still have 10 points but Polokwane City is just behind them, with points the same score. Check the PSL log frequently so you don’t lose track as there are many games to be played.
Amakhosi still have more than 20 games to go so the results are far from fixed. With their new attitude and new kits, they might come with new energy which will lead them to the top again. Find out what coach Ernst Middendorp had to say about this subject on Soccer 10.
