SuperSport United – two players will part ways

At the end of this season, Thabo Mnyamane will be ready to leave the SuperSport United and go on his own way. After a constant struggle for game time, he got notified that his position was already filled in. Mnyamane struggled with long-term injury for most of the season, which was stopping him to participate in most games.

SuperSport United decided that other team members have filled in his position just fine. So, there is no need to keep him on the side. Allegedly, he accepted the situation and understands why this happened.

Mnyamane is not the only player who is facing the exit at the end of the season. The winger Thabo Qalinge is standing in the same line. Qalinge will also be let go when the season ends while their skipper, Dean Furman will return to the United Kingdom to be with his family.

SuperSport United keeping Tembo

While they are parting ways, others are extending their contracts. The coach Kaitano Tembo will be extending his contract, which will expire at the end of this season. The two straight wins in the league have changed the mind of United’s executive officer, Stan Matthews who decided to keep him, after all.
