A late goal for sends SuperSport United up to third place

Only one goal was enough for a SuperSport United to win. Sipho Mbule scores in the second half. After this win SuperSport Unite moves on the third place on the PSL log. Unfortunately for the Bidvest Wits, they fall down in the fifth position.

Gift Motupa was once again in the team. It would be strange if he wasn’t in the team when he scores four goals last week in CAF Confederation Cup. The great start of the game from both sides bring one great chance in the 17th minute when Sifiso Hlanti did well to pick out Mxlosi Macuphu, but he didn’t score.

Only two minutes later, coach Hunt was forced to make a replacement when Sameehg Doutie picked up an apparent hamstring injury. He was replaced by winger Elias Pelembe.

Most of the time the ball was in possession of SuperSport United, but we can’t see so many chances. After the halftime Hunt makes more changes in the team. SuperSport coach answers in the same way. His first chance came in the 68th minute. In the 92nd minute, we can see the first goal. Mbule rose well into the far corner for three points for visitors.

What did Hunt say before a game with SuperSport United?

This game was the seventh league game for Bidvest Wits. Coach Hunt spoke about this. Many teams look at being behind with games as some sort of advantage, but for Hunt, this is the problem.

Anyway, they are playing game by game. But for him, this is a disadvantage. Someone will say that you have extra time to study other teams, but that’s nonsense. They need to catch the games up.

When they ask him to spoke about Wits’ chances of winning the league this season. Hunt didn’t speak about that, but he mentions that he is focused on the game that he should play. They don’t worry about the league. Game by game, win by win.
